Well, now I've gone and done it. Set up a blog, got some Adsense going, and moved out of my house all at the same time. So we'll see how long this lasts before I forget all about it and it rots in the vast post-urban jungle that is the internet.
Anyway, a little about me. I'm 20, cancer-friendly (that means pasty white, btw), and lost here in suburbia. Half-way thru an AA degree, working at a coffee shop, and about to move out of my childhood home and into an apartment with my lesbian friend. Hopefully, I can guilt my parents into getting me a Macbook of some sort, so that I might continue to post on this fledgling blog of mine. At least work has free wi-fi, so I don't have to pay for a new cable modem. Plus, mom might sell me the spare couch for cheap, so that's a plus.
My folks are alright, I suppose. They care about me, in their own weird way. They don't beat me or my brother. And they've done their level best to prepare me and him for the real world, at least as they experience it. Can't really ask for much more than that without sounding greedy.
Anyway, I have some nerd-like tendancies, like playing D&D, World of Darkness, Warhammer 40k, various PS2 & 3 games, and a modicum of computer knowledge. At least I have some things that balance me out, like a love of firearms, classic cars, and kung-fu.
Speaking of which, if anyone knows a good Capoeria teacher near Orlando, Fl, be sure and let me know!
